There is no way I can envision a championship run with KAT. He just finds too many ways to Fck it up.
JB was just as responsible for KAT fouling out as KAT.

KAT was a turnstile on defense tonight. It's not about one play.
Pathetic!
Soft.
Those two trades last offseason we will never get over.
Sometimes I hate basketball.
Feels like a pointless addiction on nights like this.

Best team in like 25 years too, which is a head scratcher to me. I should be pumped and I’m not
I missed half of the 3rd quarter and all the 1st half, but to me, we lost this game in the 3rd quarter when we let TJ light us up. That was a 5 sec violation for sure unless coach called it before. Couldn't stop Siakim. No killers other than JB sometimes. Kat is terrible. Horrible loss. Disgusted.
Brutal loss and it kind of shows why we aren't going to reach expectations this season and likely get sent home early in the playoffs. We do not have good enough consistent defense or leadership to get to the finals as of right now. Maybe it can change but I don't see it. This team is flawed and cannot be trusted.
Brunson scored 40 but he was awful in the 4th and missed his last 4 or 5 shots. And he was embarrassing on defense. The entire team was so not blaming it all on him but it starts with him and if he takes games off on defense, the team usually follows. And Nembhard has his number. He always seems to outplay him when it matters.
Same bs from KAT. I give him credit for making those FTs at the end cause that's not easy to do but the offensive fouls and lapses on defense are frustrating.
Alvarado got destroyed by McConnell. Hukporti was really bad too. Leon should add a 3rd veteran Center with that 15th spot.
We are lucky the Hicks have the worst record in the East and won't be in the playoffs cause that team just owns us and would send us home again. But with Haliburton coming back and a high pick plus adding Zubac, they are going to keep being our daddy for the foreseeable future so get used to it.
This game is on Brown. No adjustments. Brunson was having a hard time getting his shot off. Get KAT I'm the low post. Make the Hicks double the post then have KAT spray for open 3s . Have Brunson play off the ball and bring in Kolek to play PG. Jesus. It's not that hard
Hukporti was awful. Their 3rd center was better than Kat or Hukporti. Bring in any big man that can hit a 3. Hukoporti brings nothing to the team.

Is it just the way the NBA is these days where even the best teams just look flat some nights?
Having witnessed some of the great teams in NBA history I always felt the best teams showed up to compete every game even when they didn't have the edge that night.
Now it feels like playing roulette. Some nights you'll be on red, some nights on black, but where the ball lands nobody knows.
This whole game felt dull and lifeless to me. This team doesn't have that IT factor so far. I know Mitch and OG were out and if there were playing Indy would not have scored so easily, but really good teams are still a sum of their parts and when a part or two is missing the team keeps chugging along. Tonight I felt we were phoning it in.
The only thing I liked early on was Hart's passing in the first quarter was pretty sensational. But other than that, this game was just meh
Can Brunson please pass the ball a few times to Kat --- so tired of him just ignoring Kat for anything other than a pick to free himself.
Also Brunson/Bridges sucked on D tonight.
Plus Kat an idiot.
Jose/Mo didn't look so hot either. Jose got schooled by both TJ and Nembhart.
Plus Jackson once again scrub of the night -- Pacers completely suck but world beaters against Knicks. We chase their ball movement around like idiots rather than just manning up and or switching -- running around like chickens with heads chopped off.
DISGUSTING LOSS - one of worst of season.
SergioNYK wrote:It's a good thing we won't have to play these hicks again in the playoffs this season cause we simply cannot defend them and we'd get sent home again.
Why do we run all over chasing them - just switch and play D. Man up and defend someone.
What a stinker. Not a fan of these lineups, though I get he doesn’t have much to work with.
7 guards, 2 power forwards and 1 center.
Games like this raise doubts about this team’s ceiling. And makes me miss OG even more.
I hope Alvarado is as good as his boosters claim he is.
It feels like a major lapse in judgment for Kolek to be out of the rotation.
