Ima be at a DMB concert in Bristow on Saturday. One of our favorite bands, seen them almost 50 times, but I've never seen the Knicks win a chip.
So, my eyes will be glued to my phone while I listen to the music. Gotta buy and battery pack to make sure the phone lasts the whole game.
If we don't win this one, you know Trump is gonna want to attend MSG again game after. He's gonna want to hand over the trophy (or keep it, like he did with the Chelsea world club trophy).

There was a game?
I watched the post game interviews with Wemby and his Nike hoodie thing. They guy is a robot but in a good way. curious if he was wearing an earpiece and getting fed. He speaks well, and his responses were measured. Its like they are thoughful but kindo of robotic?
I don't want to dislike him but his midget shoving act is not endearing.
Really for me, we get this thing closed out and its all good. WE get ours and that never goes away.

One more game and the refs won't be able to move our cheese again
i think this is finally the game where we come out strong and don't fall behind by 10 in the 1st q.
One thing I was not ready for is how many non Knicks fans are rooting for us to win. Usually Ny teams are the one hated but everyone can see how in favor of the Spurs the calls have been so that somehow made the NY team the babyfaces(wrestling term).

I get that. Also Spurs are young, talented, arrogant, and lack personality. Brunson is being promoted by NBA and given he is short,, stocky, and the underdog has captivated a following. Knicks play a nice fast game and not controversial on or off the court. KAT has a good reputation as a player and as a good guy. The Nova brotherhood angle is also rather appealing to many.
Im finding people like this team or at the very least have little reason to dislike other than being "NEW YORK"........
I wish folks would not inflict violence on Spurs fans in NYC nor throw eggs at wemby. That is just stupid.

He just seems super immature and like kind of a 🍆. His teammates say he’s the most mature guy but if you look a little deep you’ll realize that just doesn’t seem to be the case. He gets caught in the moment way too easy and he says a lot of stupid things… i mean so do I but who tells a grown man “I’m in your head” and enjoys saying it? That’s f’ing stupid.
We’ve been watching Mitch Robinson. How frequently do we see him just non-chalantly deliver a forearm to someones neck? I wonder if Wemby was wondering whose head he was in when he missed those free throws.
I worry that the refs will continue to do what they have been every game. The only fair whistle we have seen led to an historic comeback win. If they give us a full game of that we win easily. This has been a sloppy series because the refs won't call it evenly on any level 90% of the time. 2 out of 12 quarters of basketball is all we have gotten in terms of a fair whistle.
Close this out in Texas and don't allow the Spurs any more opportunities. It's scary to see how emotionally draining that comeback was. Hope it doesn't linger into game 5. End it now and take the crown!!
I saw an interesting piece of content where the guy brought up Donovan's Mitchell's interview after going down 0-3 and his response to how to turn the series around was "don't give up a 22 point lead in game 1". The point was that 2 games later, that's still all he was thinking about, that comeback broke them and they never recovered. A massive hill to climb for the Spurs to change the momentum in the series back in their favor again. And I think there is less pressure for these guys on the road to bring the first championship in 53 years back to New York. They get it done tomorrow.

I think the Spurs are the real variable here. Did the comeback mentally defeat them, or do they come back embarrassed and angry?
Knicks have already shown 3x now their focus and dominance closing out on the road.
Either we get a true heavyweight match vs. a desperate team, or this is going to be a bludgeoning.
Been here for a while. Happy to see what’s happening. So surreal!

Agreed. Spurs have shown they are at a different level than the teams we blew out in closeout games. But that heartbreak defeat was also a different level. If I was an objective NBA fan watching this series, the most interesting thing to me would be to see how the Spurs respond. It will speak volumes about those guys. But I wouldn't even fault them if they got blown out, they are well on their way regardless. Knicks are due for a good game, they really haven't played one yet. I'm confident we are sailing with the wind at our backs tomorrow night.
