Slot them next to an emotionally unstable power forward, and now we're talking!

The Nets have the money.

That’d be pretty fucking weird seeing Julius and Mitch wearing black and white in the Garden.

Nets do that and then trade for RJ and Quickley, they probably get a bigger fan base than they've ever had.

I'm only half kidding.

His career stats of 19.5ppg/7.6rpg/1.8bpg/36 3pt% at 7'2" would put him in really rare air if healthy - near that max territory. He really was quite the unicorn when he came into the league, though Wemby has come in and does practically everything better except 3pt shooting.

He seems to have post-COVID POTS. Treatment of this system is, among other things, high salt to keep the blood pressure high. He claims he's got this illness beat.

(now that we've won a title, I'm much more sympathetic to KP - once a Knick always a Knicks... :p)

I think Dolan will do it as long as mitch doesn't get some crazy 4yr/60m offer.

but its actually not an obvious decision,

bc you wont be able to play mitch a lot of mins in the playoffs if his FT% stays at sub 50%. the flip side is that he is clearly important depth for the regular season and securing at least a top 4 seed.

I think the juxtaposition of kornet's impact and Mitch's impact even when mitch can't play more than 8mpg still shows u how wide the level of play is between a big that sucks and a big that doesn't suck is.

Warriors also gonna try to sign LeBron. NBA version of the Golden Girls

Sounds like Mitch wants to take a hometown discount to stay. Knicks are the only team he has ever played for and we just won a championship. He could maybe get $20-30 million more playing for the nets or bulls but what’s the point just to win 20 games a season

Not RFA’ing Huk and trading away the draft picks to keep cap space are the tells.

Maybe Mitch won’t get that big contract.

Don’t forget he’s had multiple foot surgeries and was held out of b2bs

Also remember how he didn’t even start playing when the season began? Maybe he was alot closer to having another injury year than we all think.

Just thoughts. I’m starting to think maybe he won’t get the 4/60 offer

Go get LeBron

It’s hard to repeat

Teams lose their edge.

Go get LeBron, bc the team will get hungry again. Not bc they want to win for LeBron per se. But bc they can embrace the chaos that comes with it and climb the mountain again while being WEIGHED DOWN by having LeBron.

They are thankful for being friends.

I’d like to see the Knicks grab a center, even if it’s someone really cheap, just as insurance. Someone like Kevon Looney would be very helpful whether there’s a chance Mitch comes back or not.
