I don't know how you can ask for a better environment for James than that. All on him to succeed and this has got to be one of his last ramps up to the NBA. Good environment for player and team if he earns it.

It'll be kinda wild if he succeeds as a super solid 3rd backup C and then goes from there. Potential is there.

To succeed, he doesn't have to do much more than defend the rim and box out and board which will lead to every opportunity for him to score or pass.

Basically, Mitch 2.0 is his role

Agreed but with the caveat that Mitch did those things at a very very high professional level and consistently and within the offense and defense. Steep climb to get to a playoff level, even as a 10+ minute backup. Mitch had 3 playoffs to learn his job.

For a play-in level team, he may be OK, but perhaps not where the Knicks heading. But 3rd string with upside and a little time, not bad at all and probably really good upside scenario for everyone.

We shall hope for the later.

Ruptured the left one in 2022

Sixers are hard capped at first apron and only have $1.8m wiggle room. They got Embiid and Bona. Oh and Taco

I would say Mitch Lite. He doesn't have Mitch's frame which made him a brute to deal with.

Mostly, I was setting the bar low enough for him to validate taking a roster spot, because we do need someone to fill that role, whether it is him or someone else.

Even if Drummond has an up year, he is still minutes limited. A 3rd stringer that gobbles boards would be ideal.

But for health, Wiseman can't be any worse than Mouse Cisse? Albeit a different type of player

We should all celebrate with some good ol day drinking. I'm currently out of work while recovering from surgery so I can proudly declare " Go Knicks and It's 6pm some where " Hoping for big things from Wiseman or Eubanks and especially from Drummond. Plus for Kat to finally stop getting so many fouls. If Kat can stop fouling as he has in the past, we can repeat. If Drummond and the 3rd string center can challeng him in practice to stop fouling that would be huge

Let’s not kid ourselves, Wiseman sucks. I’d rather see Mo get minutes as a small ball 5. I’m curious what Eubanks can bring. If he can morph an iBanks role and be Hartenstein light

Just wondering how many times have you actually seen Wiseman play? He def. looked good last night, nice athleticism, nice potential, great length.

I don’t mind admitting that I could be wrong about this one. I think my old brain is confusing him with Hassan Whiteside. No wonder I was shocked he’s only 25 years old. I actually know nothing about this kid

Wonder if Philly FO is thinking "did we like what we saw in Eubanks or Bradely"?
