We forced Maxey into a tough shot and he just missed it perfectly for that POS right there to put it back in. Also hit a tough one over OG. Simons (21 points on 5/8 from three) killed us all game too. We missed soooo many open looks and bunnies. 93 points on 41% and 13/41 from three isn't gonna cut it on the road but it's early and the offense will come.
Meh. I didn't think it was a good game at all. It was close in spite of the Knicks looking very ordinary. They have no flow, and no identity. Not playing like a team at all, just disparate parts. Very mediocre.
Its astounding how mediocre they look during the season and then flip a switch in the playoffs.
I just want the 6th seed and to avoid the stupid play-in nonsense
Rockets repeated as a 6th seed. So can we.
The reason the Rockets were seeded so low in the first place was a combination of injuries and mid-season upheaval. As the defending 1994 champions, they struggled early in the season. Seeking a spark, the front office executed a blockbuster trade in February to acquire veteran star Clyde Drexler, reuniting him with his former college teammate Olajuwon. Integrating a major piece mid-season disrupted their rhythm, resulting in a relatively pedestrian 47-35 finish. However, by the time the playoffs began, the new roster had finally clicked.
