74 with 2:36 to go and he's going to the line
Rich @ 1/22/2006 11:55 PM
He's probably the reason that Phil Jackson chose the Lakers over the Knicks.
TymeLessKnicks @ 1/22/2006 11:56 PM

TymeLessKnicks @ 1/23/2006 12:01 AM
i am really and truely in shock!!!!! kobe is not human....
islesfan @ 1/23/2006 12:01 AM
80 freaking points. Unbelievable. Can you imagine if he had finished that game against the Mavs earlier this year when he scored 62 in just 33 minutes? He could have had close to 80 in that game as well.

81 points.
Let's sacrifice here. Jerome + Q-Rich + Malik for kobe?
BRIGGS @ 1/23/2006 12:02 AM
if kobe wanted to, he can legitametly score 100+ in a game
teslawlo @ 1/23/2006 12:03 AM
i, for one, will acquire a copy of that game using any means (google video?)

gunsnewing @ 1/23/2006 12:05 AM

McK1 @ 1/23/2006 12:06 AM
yes
McK1 @ 1/23/2006 12:06 AM
I'm glad I was able to witness it. Kobe is truly amazing.
Bonn1997 @ 1/23/2006 12:08 AM
Was it the right decision to leave him in to pile up more points once the outcome of the game wasn't in question? I don't really think that's good sportsmanship.

I'm glad he's proving it because he was my favorite player before he started driving Shaq away.
