we got dominated by Cliff Lee again... this guy is a real Yankee killer... we need to get this guy signed this winter by any means necessary.
our lineup needs a shakeup... Derek Jeter is not doing the job at all at the top of the lineup... i would shift him back to the #2 & bat Gardner leadoff... he's clearly been the only catalyst so far in this series... i say we try & get him on base early & give Texas a little dose of their own medicine w/the aggressive baserunning... Cano should be batting 3rd also & Teix should be hitting behind ARod.

lee was straight filthy last night. andy had one mistake to hamilton in the first and 2 runs were enough for lee to close us out. aj better get the job done tonight or else we're looking at a looooong offseason.

our pitchers can't pitch, our hitters can't hit... other than that we're in great shape.
do or die now... CC better dominate tomorrow night... hopefully we can take game 5 & ride a little momentum into Texas... losing Teix is huge, not that he's been hitting at all, but his defense at 1B will be missed... now we gotta deal w/Lance Berkman starting at 1B for the rest of the series.
someone needs to start hitting other than Robbie... we had so many chances to score runs in this game & everyone just plain choked... Swisher & ARod were huge disappointments tonight in key spots in particular... Texas played some terrific defense too when they needed to... they have completely out played us so far in every facet of the game.

Why is what Wood just did not considered a balk? It looked like he started pitching to home plate and then stopped and threw to 2nd. (I'm asking because I don't understand the balking rules.)

Yanks still not playing well and Texas is still hitting!
Texas still looks like the "it" team as does Giants despite superior starphuch power opponents!
It can turn on a dime. Yanks lucky to be alive with Two games won.
Would love to see a Giant-Yank series. Got that classic "Polo Field" appeal to it.

we are going to eat colby lewis tomorrow night to tie the series then show cliff lee why he needs to be a yankee next year on saturday.......yankees ARE going to the world series - the momentum has swung and all we need to do is win one game at a time.....these aint the knicks we talkin about here -

IM not preaching the doom and gloom. Yanks looked like the "it" team against Minny and they came back on game one against Texas so it was like "yankees biytch!" but the switch got turned off and they are flat. Texas is playing real well and somtimes you just get beat!
In my mind the obvious still plays as yanks are underdogs having to win 2 but Cliff Lee not going to be BoB Gibson every game and be a killer so he is do for a bad game and yanks are do to break out a bit.
Last nite it seemed the gods really did not want the yanks to win.
As a fan I want them to win!!! Can CC pitch game 7? That big mofo does better tired!

we need someone else to step up & start hitting other than Robbie... ARod has been MIA in this postseason whereas he carried us on his shoulders last year... Cap'n Jeter has not had that Derek Jeter postseason moment in a few years... Jorge is looking worse & worse behind the plate, he better get used to the idea of DHing real soon.
right now my money's on Curtis Granderson to get that big hit tomorrow to break this game open... my sentimental pick would be Swish, but he's looked pretty lost at the plate also.
we just need to get it to a game 7, then all bets are off... crazy things always seem to happen in a game 7.
