I listened to 8 callers in a row yesterday on the WFAN talk about how no one would know who Jeter was if he played on any other team.

The man's going to finish in the top 10 in almost every category there is. He's rubbing shoulders now with the likes of Willie Mays and Lou Gehrig. He's leading the league in hits at 38 freakin years old. He's never been thrown out of a game.

I hate the Mets, and could care less about almost every other team in MLB. But I can respect the achievements, skill and professionalism of people like Seaver, Leiter and Cone (<----yeah, a little bias on that last one). I can be in awe at times of people like Maurer and Hamilton and Pujols. Don't people realize they sound stupid?

Skip Bayless basically said he wouldn't be suprised if Jeter is using something considering he's hitting .320.

Was going to mention the Mets, but I always think that's so inhumane.

And Bobby Valentine is always funny. (As long as he stays on other teams.)

It's like the Yankees are the Mets this year, and the Mets are an even worst version of themselves.
