I never liked D'Antoni as a Knick coach. Thibs, Woodson - defense first. D'Antoni didn't even think about it.
I say fire 'im!

it would be nice if thibs had 1/100th of mda’s offensive capability

For whatever it's worth, D'Antoni's record as Knick coach was 121 - 167. Thibs currently 97 - 94. Overall NBA percentage comparable, MDA having significantly more games.
For me, the Knicks should be defensive minded and tough. Best Knick coaches stressed that and weren't offensive wizards. D'Antoni's disregard for defense had no place here, just my sentiment.

u pleased with thibs’ offensive schemes, ball movement, cuts, strategies to take advantage of players’ strengths, in-game adjustments?

More pleased than I was with MDA!
I’m no savant with this stuff. But I know enough about sports to believe that defense takes a lot of focus and energy, and usually at the expense of offensive freedom. It may not be the truth it once was, but “defense wins championships” still makes sense to me. Is Thibs perfect? Of course not. And maybe he has to leave not too far down the road. But his tenure has been one where some respect and hope has returned to the Knicks. Still heading upward too I’d say. And considering the talent level I’m content if often frustrated like everyone else.

Ghost of Knicksmas past!
Muahahaha
We get to argue again MDA and the Isiahesque roster he had?
Then he gets his buddy Amare and Melo and has to deal with JR Smith.
Not sure any coach could have won with what he had.
