Knicks · What will the Knicks record be after 8 weeks/30 games (page 3)

This team lacks fallen on the back court, wing, and at center. Acy is an energy guy, but he is not that good of a defender. If we truly want to compete in the east, we have to find another big to replace Bargnani and Cole Aldrich. Those two bigs are occupying spaces and are not giving us jack doodoo.

looking at the schedule going forward to the remaining games up to 30 and with calderon back giving the knicks a lift, i still see a 6-10 record which means that they end up 10-20. i mean their defense is not going to improve and i saw only a bit more triangle tonight.

does anyone see things differently?

I said 12-18 or 11-19 which is exactly the pace they're on

I think Bargs completely dropping off the chart gives us a big lift! 17 wins, here we come!

9 is looking seriously unlikely out of the first 30 now !!!
gunsnewing @ 12/2/2014 10:43 PM
i'm sticking to 4-26
Splat @ 12/2/2014 10:47 PM
I voted for 9-21 originally. That looks like the holy grail now.
smackeddog @ 12/3/2014 8:38 AM
Ha- I voted 9-21, thinking at the time I would err on the side of caution...

The good news is we reached # 3 worst record in the league last night. We're a 1/2 game behind Detroit and gaining on them.

My plan now is to pump cocaine and ecstasy into the Philadelphia water supply so their team gets both super happy and exhilirated and goes on an epic win streak and secures our position.

PHilly gets a 25% chance of top spot if worst. Thats 75% chance of not.

Worst 3-4 makes us good.

Whoaaaa the sunshine coming out of your butt is blinding me!

I'd agree, except I don't think that can be arranged. But if anybody can it would be a digital tool such as yourself. Adam Silver has a red button under his right lapel. Get close enough to him and activate it and he'll do anything you tell him to do.

Wow this thread is telling

Everything that I thought would go right did not.

I thought Bargs would be a 17-7 C
I thought Tim Hardaway would be a 15-16 pt scorer
I thought JR could go back to being a 6th man of the year type
I thought that atleast Jose would keep the team running fine
I thought guys like Dalembart Smith Aldrich would give us additional frontcourt depth that would be a +

and none of this happened.

Did anyone read where the Knicks played the most games 5 pts or less and are 2-9. If above happened would Knicks be 13-4? The differential is not very high slthough it is skewed since we "come back" from double digit points in the 4th when the other team lets up.

Knicks1969 @ 12/3/2014 12:01 PM
This team will start winning only after Phil is able to replace a couple of the talents we currently have. The entire frontline needs to be replaced. J Smith does only one thing, that is just the 15-17 foot jumper. He doesn't rebound, defend, not even set screens. Cole is pretty much just occupying a spot. Dalembert is nothing but a backup center. Amare, Although he gives us a few points and rebounds, he too is a backup player.

So for now, I will say we will only win 10 games by mid point of the season. 10 wins after 41 games.

Sadly, we'd still be 3 games out of the worst record in the NBA.
