Knicks · In Randle We Trust... (page 3)

Dude was like PLUS 20 million! LOL. No really he was good. Randle was +27 for the game!!!
Yeah I saw that. But how was his individual defence?

It's unfortunate that Melo and Noah will be on the books but at least the bulk of the team will be young guys that make a difference going forward.
I really want to rejoice... and I don't disagree with you... but I really don't want to end up with Jordan Hill instead of Steph Curry
I guess that depends on who you consider to be the Steph Curry we might miss out on. I worry about dropping too far down the Lottery myself but if that happens it's because we have 2 Nets games coming up. Kind of hard to play worse than a team like that. I've come to accept that the Knicks will win more of these games than we may want. SO SAD
I want either of the Kentucky guards, preference to Fox but would be ecstatic with Monk, (assuming we don't get a top 2 pick). I think both of those guys would be viewed as much better prospects if they weren't sharing the back court together. I have a feeling we're going to just miss out on the last available between the two...
I think we have to stay in the 7, 8, 9 range in order to be sure to get one of the guys we need, but even out to 12 you can still grab a good player! Just can't fall out of the Lottery.Draft Express

If you don't want to do that, I don't like any of the Duke players, history tells you not to draft anyone from Arizona, Dennis Smith scares me because NC St is as disappointing as the Knicks are, Robert Williams is not what we need, and I am a big NO on Miles Bridges as history demonstrates that tweeners at SF/PF don't pan at well at all in the NBA. So that's five guys off that list and it could be more, as I really have no idea about the international players
Regardless of whether Melo stays or goes, I believe the Knicks will draft his replacement at SF!!! I just think it's the most logical thing for them to do. Get an Athletic, Skilled and Team Oriented SF like Tatum or Bridges. Hopefully Melo waives his NTC and moves on this summer. Then we can move forward and add a young STUD that passes and defends.
As mentioned above--I do not like Tatum or Bridges as prospects... I could be swayed for the other SFs but really want a guard

I think they have EXCELLENT prospects as NBA players. Tatum to me has a Pro Game and is being held back at Duke. Both of them will pass the ball and play a team game. I also love the PG's in this draft but by the time we pick I think SF is the Prime Value.

so Duke has underachieved all year and the reason is they are NOT playing team ball. If you have watched Duke play this year you would recognize this. Forget the internet videos. He's got talent but Duke should be much, much better and it's because everyone is pulling in different directions. Maybe the conference tourney and the NCAA changes my mind but as of right now I'm not interested in a player from Duke
As for Bridges, again, he's a tweener and he is SF that plays PF. The draft is littered with many, many examples of that type of tweener that were colossal busts. Michael Beasley comes to mind immediately. Bridges is a 6'6" Power Forward. He might be able to out muscle college kids but he's gonna get whipped at the next level. While I might change my mind about Tatum it'll be a cold day in hell if I change my mind on Bridges

I see Tatum being a player that can fit in well with what we want to do. I think Tatum is more of a Grant Hill type. I wish he was more attentive on D but his overall game is legit.
I'll give you the reservations about Bridges. I'm not as down on his Pro Prospects as you are but I can see his downside. Still we will be at the mercy of the Draft Ball Gods and at some point you have to accept that the PG's may be gone.

Cool man just busting your chops.
To put it mildly... Elfred Payton was not scared of Derrick Rose... He almost had a triple double on him. He had confidence playing against Rose... Chasson Randle didn't do anything that jump out, but Payton wasn't going wild like he was all game. Chasson is patient and fundamentally sound on both sides of the ball. He always stays square which is excellent. He doesn't cheat.

Thanks, on the highlight reels it was evident he can see the floor well and finish with his left hand. So obviously it felt a little like the Lin 2.0, as long as he plays defense he will have value. Hoping he is more skilled than Lin as well.

My wife was also hesitant about cutting the cord so I just did it but made sure everything is in place for the transition to streaming and only having basic TV. NBA League Pass for only Knicks is great.

I don't think you can get MSG app without having it on your cable service--out of state. Can keep cable, buy a 3rd? generation apple tv( something you plug into your tv) cheap and just pay for Knicks. High def and can watch all games later
