Going to get publicity...I think he earns point with other players on the team.

You'll see. If KP becomes the next scapegoat for Phil, half the fans here will be roasting him daily. He has enough flaws in his game that you can pick at them. He'll sign his 1 year deal and then be a UFA and we'll move onto the next villan.

I actually can't WAIT for Melo to be gone!!! This team needs to be free of this drama. I still want to hear from KP on this to see what his explanation is. He's going to have to talk with Phil and get clarity on things.
Phil is doing the right thing for this franchise. KP needs to understand that Melo's agenda isn't good for this franchise. One day KP is going to realize this.

what explanation do you need..the dude isn't dumb, and phils press conference was absolutely brain dead, with no direction..Phil is not going to let the coach do him, and the players don't like it, and you're constantly throwing your best player under the bus, the one he wants to trade

But you know whats going to happen, Phil will make a horrible trade for some trash, sign some more bad contracts like NOAH (there isn't a decent FA coming here)

Tell me is there any serious dysfunction if the Knicks draft well and are moving ahead minus guys that resist buying into TEAM BALL. Jeff and Phil are on the same page from what I can see. I can't wait for the Melo-drama to be over so we can be free of this crap.

Who gives a flip what the rest of the league feels about Melo? Why should we care if people like Phil as opposed to Melo? All that matters is what's best for the team and IMO, Melo is not good for the team.
I still have issues with Rose. I don't expect Phil to bring Rose back. Keeping that option open isn't a guarantee that he's bringing Rose back. Phil said he basically considers Rose a scoring guard and not a PG and I agree.

Players sign because of other players on the team, not because of no president or GM..Players don't feel melo is the problem, and thats been echoed around the league.
Phil only cares about his triangle brand..
