I'd add the Heat and Hornets as teams that will be better than the Knicks for sure and can see the Knicks right there with the 76ers fighting for the 8th seed. There's actually a legit chance that we make the playoffs next year which of course hurts us for the draft.

Until the Knicks get a PG besides our Rookie and Ron "shot maker" Baker I am still assuming we're going to tank/rebuild. Expecting a lot of wins with KP as the focus and Timmy as his number #2 and trying to incorporate a new offense (and probably keep some tryangle). All that stuff points at extreme growing pains and a losing record for at least a year.

Many thought KP was not ready to contribute his rookie season and ended up challenging for rookie of the year. Frenchy has 3 years professional experience and the consensus is he has a advanced game. He may just be ready to contribute from day 1. Dont write him off just yet.

Gotto ezpect KP to step up, i would expect KP to solve his offense weakness, particularly not being able to dominate guards in the post. THJ looks like a stud from the footage ive seen from last year (if you havent check out facebook, youtube before commenting). Melo is a an all star player who has been dedicating to improvingbhus game all off-season. Frank we have seen but if his defense is as advertised and can runn and offense moving the ball and contributing on offense I think we have a solid all around team.

Tanking IMO is not the direction we should be taking. You can find game changers outside of the top 5 picks. Never a guarantee a lottery pick will make it in the NBA...check the history. Willy, KP, THJ, Frank are all players of our future.. Thats 4 of 5 starting players...not sure I understand the need to tank. Add in Kuz, Dotson, and baker and thats even more youth for our future. Talent is here..lets see how team plays not under the triangle anymore.

Your opinion is wrong..... but a lot of Knicks fans are shortsighted so unfortunately you're not alone

Not sure what is wrong about my opinion. We have four legit starters of the future, plus an all star in Melo. Plus a decent bench. Why are ppl so focused on tanking? Just dont get it. Which of the current top teams intentionally tanked? We can also use GS as an example it you look at where their home geown stars were drafted. Lets play ball.

I'm just hoping that Ron Burgandy will earn the nickname you gave him of "shot maker" cause he damn sure hasn't earned that nickname from what he did for us last year which wasn't making shots.

Not so sure about Heat and Hornets. Dont see either as better than the knicks. Have to remember the knicks lost many close games last year and the antiquated triangle was in play. Willy, KP, THJ, Baker, Kuz with a year under their belt I think makes a difference. Frenchy could be a major x factor as well.
