It's been a whole year though. Unless there are some incriminating texts from KP, I can't see this going anywhere due to lack of evidence.

Interesting claim considering he had just destroyed his knee. Not saying it couldn’t have happened. But this doesn’t seem unlikely to anyone?

So glad this isn't our issue

Fuck you Janis

Yeah, this is a topic for ultimatemavericks.com. I know this is a low blow, but...this kind of fits with the general behavior of the Mavericks organization if the allegations are true. I'm glad KP is making an effort to fit in.

Interesting that his lawyer said they notified federal authorities on December 18th. Did KP want to get out of nyc before the media found out? Was Perry trying behind the scenes to get a deal done because he knew about the accusation?

If the Knicks did know, it was a wise business and PR move to get him out of dodge...We already dealt with a similar situation with Isiah...this would have been another PR nightmare during a time when things are looking up for this franchise as we head into the summer...hope it's not true but with that said, glad it's not our problem for a change.

I'm no fan of Princess Porzingis, but there is a fishy element to the story in that it seems the accuser took so long because she was waiting to get a settlement. We'll see. Nonetheless, all the more reason to be glad he's gone and dream about how those Dallas 1st rounders may turn out.

Plus the Mavs had that huge sexual harassment investigation last fall.

Another "MeToo" after not getting payed story.
Every man who has anything to lose our days should "stay woke".
ramtour420 @ 3/30/2019 11:18 PM
Who knows what the hell happened there. Could be a golddigger or maybe KP is just genuinely not a nice person. The assistant equipment manager's story posted from not long ago did point to such.
knicks180nyc @ 3/30/2019 11:27 PM
regardless of who's telling the truth, this does speak to the immaturity of porzingis. he should've never been in this situation in the first place. the knicks best move this season was getting away from porzingis because giving him his money is looking like it would've been a huge mess.

I find this type of post the dumbest ever. You have zero details about what has actually transpired and seemed to have come to a conclusion and for whatever reason have decided to pretty poorly throw in MeToo.

Just stop

What an absolute mess for Porzingis. I was a huge fan but I’m glad the Knicks moved on. She doesn’t sound credible but regardless this is not a good look. Not for a franchise player with the Knicks. Seems like the baggage was piling up and the Knicks had no choice but to move on.

I thought I read that law enforcement saw the accuser as credible. Whatever, no way to judge this at this point.

The circumstances aren’t good for the accuser. Either way it’s a bad look all around.

This is pathetic. I work with survivors of rape- while false allegations do happen and are horrific for the accused, the reality is the vast majority of rapes are not prosecuted and it's very hard to get a conviction (it is actually very hard to prove- even if you can prove sex took place, how do you prove it was non-consensual if it wasn't accompanied with violence?)- the numbers of women who are raped and get no justice are way higher than the number of people falsely accused.

You seem to have empathy for men who are falsely accused, but where's the empathy for people who are raped? How would you feel if you were raped and everyone said you were just making it up and the person who raped you was treated as some sort of victim?
