I'm willing to part with anyone if the right deal comes around. I doubt there's anything to this report. I'm sure every team in the league is monitoring "KAT's situation." But Mitch alone wouldn't scare me away from getting a deal done.
Not for Kat. If Towns entered the league with D'Antoni as his head coach Id understand the lack of D, at this point. He was coached by Thibodeau, who made it job 1. Doesnt look like anything rubbed off. David Lee put up great numbers, didnt play D until just before he was out of the league. Would rather build on a foundation of Barrett/Mitch/Knox, than tear it down and start again with someone who cant play D. Was for bringing Kanter back for a premium, even though his D needed work. What the Knicks would be paying Towns, a lot more than Kanter, Id expect that D to already be there.Would have to give up too much for a one way player.

Ways to clear cap space. We did it for LeBron we did it for Durant, among others. Fact is, stars didnt want to go to a franchise that didnt have its act together and a star who didnt put enough effort on D. No one to make room for. Knicks have a better chance of attracting talent if they can show they have good players in the pipeline that they've developed. Giannis or a healthy Durant could bring stars to NY, doubt Kat will have the same effect. Not without some D.

KAT is 10X better than MITCH, even with his super suspect defense..But I agree, not willing to overpay for him
AT this point, I would really only trade for players coming from a winning environment, tired of bringing in these loser mentality players, who have losing habits

I’d be willing to give up Mitch KAT is in a league of his own. He would be a more athletic Ewing who will be living his dream of putting on the orange and blue... Coming home could take him to a whole new level.

We still keep our number one pick and get one of the best players in the league.
Next year We get to add a top pg from this years draft and have space for a top SF signing.

we have the worst 1-3 in the NBA our problem isn't the frontcourt. There are tons of great playmakers in this league and we can't seem to get one

How about Randle, DSJ, Knox, our 1st unprotected, the two Dallas 1st rounders, and what ever 1st we get for Morris? We could also include a pick swap for next years draft. I think that that is a pretty good haul that allows them to start over with a good amount of picks. Mitch/KAT/RJ is definitely the start of something special and I think we would still have some cap space to grab a pg.
I have no patience with bigs who have max contracts and don't play defense. I wouldn't give up anything important for him.
