Thats enough to say "pass". Wolves are on an 11 game losing streak, I believe. He's doing enough in Minny to change their fortunes. Id rather have Mitch's D then KAT's O. Hard to field a contender when you starting Center cant play D.I was concerned that Mills might try a "Hail Mary" trade to keep his job. Hope this isnt it. Dont believe a Center who puts up legit numbers on offense, but who cant play D will be a big draw for FAs. Look at Melo. Would rather Dolan hire a top exec, and let him make the big changes, if neccesary. More trust in 1st round draft picks.
Money and a winning situation will draw free agents, whether KAT is here or not. As for Mitch, love his potential, but he might never get there. He's still learning how to stay on the floor. Also, KAT is also still learning.Even if Mitch doesn’t get there, I want him to own Jarrett Allen tonight. Allen gets a ton of hype. I want Mitch to shut that down. Mills making any big splash moves is scary.
Has Mitch really owned anyone for a full game? Just truly dominated on the defensive end of things? I know he has made repeated spectacular plays and all but I can't remember him ever really locking down a good offensive player before.
For me Allen's offense is a by-product of getting baskets off of penetration and ball movement or PnR, ie someone else. Do you really lock that player down?If KP is an offensive unicorn, Mitch is a defensive one. In spite of no college, very raw, the team is better defensively when he's on the court. Already one of the best shot blockers in the league.A couple of weeks ago some folks were talking about Mitch and foul trouble like its a permanent condition. Biting less on fakes as well. Surprised anyone is willing to part with Mitch after going undrafted, and showing so much, so soon. Also can reboundand finish on offense.
I'm willing to part with anyone if the right deal comes around. I doubt there's anything to this report. I'm sure every team in the league is monitoring "KAT's situation." But Mitch alone wouldn't scare me away from getting a deal done.
Not for Kat. If Towns entered the league with D'Antoni as his head coach Id understand the lack of D, at this point. He was coached by Thibodeau, who made it job 1. Doesnt look like anything rubbed off. David Lee put up great numbers, didnt play D until just before he was out of the league. Would rather build on a foundation of Barrett/Mitch/Knox, than tear it down and start again with someone who cant play D. Was for bringing Kanter back for a premium, even though his D needed work. What the Knicks would be paying Towns, a lot more than Kanter, Id expect that D to already be there.Would have to give up too much for a one way player.

I see it as this. he is a superstar putting up monster numbers. true, his defense is awful but he is only 24 and could get better as well as being relatively healthy. I would love to ride it out with rj, knox and mitch but our player development, despite making that a priority, has done nothing to show that these players will not be better under their watch. we have assets and NO ONE is coming here alone so we need to make trades to get our superstar. plus it would be fun watching KAT vs. embiid 4 times a year!
Like Melo got all those stars to come to NY? Dont hate Kat, hate panic moves.

no, our cap restrictions more than anything made stars look elsewhere. that made it a non issue.

Ways to clear cap space. We did it for LeBron we did it for Durant, among others. Fact is, stars didnt want to go to a franchise that didnt have its act together and a star who didnt put enough effort on D. No one to make room for. Knicks have a better chance of attracting talent if they can show they have good players in the pipeline that they've developed. Giannis or a healthy Durant could bring stars to NY, doubt Kat will have the same effect. Not without some D.

It would take a special player for me to part with Mitch and KAT is not it. We are going to have to overpay and he is just not worth trading multiple assets for. I would have no problem tradig for a playmaker not a center

KAT is 10X better than MITCH, even with his super suspect defense..But I agree, not willing to overpay for him
AT this point, I would really only trade for players coming from a winning environment, tired of bringing in these loser mentality players, who have losing habits

Why players from winning environment will want to be traded at all and especially to losing environment?
If one want he is an idiot and why you would wont to trade for idiot? Unless you yourself an idiot...
Knox, Morris, Mitch, and DSJR plus Dallas’s two future firsts, Should get the job done.
We still keep our number one pick and get one of the best players in the league.
Next year We get to add a top pg from this years draft and have space for a top SF signing.

we have the worst 1-3 in the NBA our problem isn't the frontcourt. There are tons of great playmakers in this league and we can't seem to get one

Yes, not one shred of viable fact backing up the headline. Pure speculation. Nothing to see here, move along.

LMAO. Mills leaks a story to give him another couple of years. Amazing how some can keep falling for this crap.
The idea that anyone wants to come to this shit show is hilarious.
Hopefully Mills is being kept out of MSG and Knicks do nothing until we get a true GM/Prez.

All that needs to be known is that it was started by fat man Berman. Who Mills knows can always be found at the local Dunkin Donuts.

Not according to Kevin Durant.
I read elsewhere that Russell Westbrook might be traded - I'd rather go after him than KAT.
