This virus has very specific symptoms comparing to common cold.
But some people can have them very mild and even never realized they ever were infected.
Especially people with strong immune system.
That's why it can spread unnoticed.

I'm struggling to see how they do this. If it does go as projected, we're looking at a peak in 2 months or so (and the peak is huge)- can you do the playoffs with all the players either getting sick? Are you playing any more regular season games before the playoffs?
Maybe they could scrap the season but having a mini tournament to decide the draft order (for non-playoff teams, pick order or odds determined by winning), and one for 8th seed in the west (a few teams could have overtaken the Griz).
I think they'll wait for the test results- if more players have the Virus, then it's game over for a long while. If no one else is infected they might try the fans-free game approach the Warriors were about to do.

I'm supposed to go to a Devils game next week. Probably won't happen.
And when can they realistically restart? What about MLB? Those are even potentially bigger crowds.
When do they restart, conceivably, and how close to next season is that so they just wash their hands of this season because.
And how hard if they want to finish the games to reschedule?

Yeah this season will go down in infamy for all the crazy things that happened.
watching the end of the game last night every player hugged, touched faces and then hugged Vince and touched more faces and hugged more people. It was like one of those chicken pox parties.
Two things not getting attention.
1) This was the only way the league can slow Frank's rise to stardom
2) Folks saw my gamepicker heating up and got scared

I too am struggling to think how you do this fairly. The NHL is probably going to do the same thing, and the Rangers are 2 points out of a playoff spot. I would probably just use the standings as of today to determine the playoffs, but you're telling me that's fair, especially when the Rangers haven't played as many games as everyone else?
