In the same universe where a guy who couldn't even qualify as a bench project here, who's now getting mediocre numbers on a cellar-dwelling team that's in the middle of a franchise excavation - buy one/get two free firesale, gets his own thread because truly knowledgeable Knick fans have to be miserable about everything, all the time.
Misery is strangely addictive. I am getting a bit of a withdrawal syndrome right now.
Try the KP's hurt again thread. It's almost like a methadone clinic.
Is this like some sort of "I am groot" thing, martin?

If DSJ is so good why didn’t Lebron get the Lakers to trade for him?

DSjr couldn't carry Marbury's jock.
Marbury averaged 20 points and 8 assists over 13 years in the NBA.
In what universe is DSjr like Marbury?
They’re both offensive stat guys who gave zero effort on D and dribbled way too much
DSJ was at least a stat guy in Dallas and his first season here. And then he played a full season with us and got exposed as a loser

He's not a lead pass first guard, he's a scoring guard (like IQ but he scores at the rim) that plays downhill. When he plays like a PG, he disappears and you don't even know he's on the floor.
However, he can't play off the ball. He REALLY disappears when the ball isn't in his hands. At his size with no outside shot, what position do you realistically expect him to play to be effective and (more importantly) help a team win? He doesn't have the heart or drive to be an Iverson clone, which is about the only comp who had success I can think of.
DSJ is terrible off ball because he can’t shoot

I honestly thought the Lakers would get him and Lebron would make DSJ his pet project and make him "look" like a viable NBA player.
