But yeah. I'm glad we traded him because we received excellent value in return but I can't lie, all those nights watching KP and the Knicks with my wife, my daughter and her grandma were moments I'll cherish forever.
Don't worry. Rokas will be over soon to replace any lingering feelings for the Unigone
Rokas is Lithuanian. Lithuania is not Latvia. Slovenia is not Slovakia. Australia is not Austria. The Dutch are not from Denmark and the Swiss are not from Sweden.

My bad. Maybe you can learn to accept him into your heart 🥺

Yeah, right. Stop pulling my leg mate. What's next? Budapest is not Bucharest?

We are likely the 7th seed in the East. Not better than Miami or Chicago. Not better than Atlanta at the moment. The East is a lot better we are going to be battling for the playoffs. Boston and Charlotte should also be better. Going to be interesting.
Thibs is from the Pat Riley tree where 8 man rotations are a religion
Except those years where Thibs plays 10 man rotation like last year?
And Thibs and Riley never play rookies, until they do.
Thibs definitely doesn't play the modern 3pt game, until he did and his team was good at it
Pat Riley always played rookies. Do you know who Dwayne Wade, Hubert Davis and Greg Anthony are?
Hahaha - that trade just keeps on going.
I absolutely love the KP trade tree. It’s almost silly at this point but it shows all the dominoes that fall when you move one player in a league with a salary cap. it’s fascinating.
In the case of KP you could argue that- even ignoring all the dominoes that have fallen since- the winner of the trade was the team that didn’t sign KP to a max contract. 😂

I would still take KP over Mitch, Simms and Noel
He's a much better fit with Randle then those guys

Yup. Basically 2 year contracts.

That's awesome.
Awesome indeed. It's the douchebag that keeps on giving.
Noel contract was reported as 3 years 32 and given the unlikely bonuses its only 2 years 18 mil with a team option for 10 mil. Steal of a contract adding even more positivity to the offseason.

I respectfully disagree. KP has never been a good on-ball defender and Randle can't guard 7 footers either. It would be nice if Mitch could stretch the floor but he and Nerlens at least give us a defensive anchor that KP can't offer.

This isn't accurate.
The third guaranteed year of Fournier's deal is '23-24.
And now Randle added to that.

Didn’t we get Randle with cap space KP trade provided?
The really ironic thing is that KP's only utility now is a spot up 3 point shooter... and letting Bullock go to the Mavs basically replaces KP's sole utility on that team for someone who does it better and actually defends... HAHAHAHAHHA
KP's 2021/22 campaign will be a nightmare as he will have extra sour grapes with Bullock taking a lot of his touches and ultimately, playing time.. ROFL!!!!

There are those who say we could have signed Randle anyway, but I don't see that happening if we held on to His Doucheness. Not to mention the signing of players like Morris (who became IQ), Burks, Bullock, Noel, etc., and the use of that cap freedom up to the present moment.

It's still incredible to me that we turned DSJ into DRose.
I wonder if there is a Dallas version of this trade tree... LMAO

We had like 70 mill in cap and over paid a bunch of role players.
One could argue that we got IQ, but Morris's impact was much more than IQ, and Im sure we would have beated ATL with Morris.
KP said I want to win, I want to see progress, Mills said, we don't, we want to tank for Zion..
