I wonder how many turtles this guy runs over in his Kia.

I am not sure how much I like this new NBA. It is way too soft. I guess that is why I stopped watching the playoffs.

The best thing about this is that Horford made Giannis pay for taunting. He was clearly pissed off and used that anger to be a main reason why Boston won the game. This is how you take care of taunting. Not trying to ref the emotion out of the game.

Al Horford was ridiculous in that game- in fact he’s been great most of the season and was/is a big reason for the Celtics resurgence. He looked done when he was with the Sixers!

It's interesting to see Jonathan review his initial takes

Smart man with relevant connections. If we are to trade for him keep our youth. Trading all our youth and draft picks we will end up like the nets with way less talent.

I have also heard that DM's friend of a friend has a neighbor, whose nephew's girlfriend is calling to get DM to NY. It is as good as having DM already in the bag.

I think it was Berman who had an article last week about Mitchell, they interviewed Dave Checkettes son who does radio for Utah. He reminded everything that Utah has the All Star game in 2023 and they need a player like Donovan to promote around it and that made sense to me. You can't trade your main guys like Rudy AND DM and then host, that wouldn't make sense.

He thought they would move Rudy this year and then after All Star game see how the situation is with DM

Or use Randle as the new face of the franchise and put the fear of god into every Cult Morman follower where the very white and very blonde Mrs. Randle sits and reminds the cult that the black man is coming for their daughters!!!! (Nalod is being sarcastic, does not prescribe to this. Fact is he and his wife are college sweethearts and he has demonstrated a unusual commitment to family life for a young man. Personally I hope that has not changed and is why he was out of sorts this past season!).

No, I don’t see jules as the center of that kind of deal. Im ok with DM but agree we have to keep our young core. Especially RJ!!!! This is why I wrote “Then what”……. This was my main source of issue when we got Melo. It was not him, it was our bare cupboard and our reliance on JR smith!!!!

Yes, nets starphuched themselves good for sure thus far.

As for DM, the article Martin references was interesting. Lets not forget they have a dynamic owner, Ainge is now ready to wheel and deal, and DWade is an active part owner and likley very much on it. They will make it hard for him to leave by giving him most of what he wants. Key is DM can’t screw it up either if thats the case. This like most starphucks are low probabilty unless Gorbert is unmoveable and they need to go in a diffferent direction.

I didn't catch any of the Utah-Dallas games but is anyone bothered by the fact that Brunson was able to just blow by Donovan Mitchell repeatedly?

Extremely bothered. He’s regressed so much as a defender since his college days. Also Brunson is very underrated at getting to the basket.

11 seconds left. What a wild game between the Bucks and Celtics.
ToddTT @ 5/11/2022 9:37 PM
Holy shit Jrue with a maybe the biggest play of the Bucks season.

What an amazing play to do that without the foul and to throw the ball off Smart. It reminds me of that Lebron black to win the Championship. They both needed their teammate to slow down the ball handler for a split second so they can catch up and get the block.

Nalod @ 5/12/2022 4:31 AM
Even the strip of Smart to end the game was clutch. I know we all love smart but in two plays we all saw his offensive limits and while its not his to “Blame”, it could have cost them a title right there. Right now these two are the elite of the east and with PHX looking human, this could who wins it all.

Imagine Jaren jackson JR as a knick the last few years? Half fan base want to run hiim out of town and the other propping up from his good games. This dude is an allstar when he feels good and not in foul trouble. He has the package.

I can see it now. We'd lable him "No Action" Jackson because he's always hurt.
