McBride, the 36th overall pick in last year’s draft, averages 29.4 points on 50 percent shooting and a staggering 53.5 marksmanship from deep to go with 9.6 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.8 steals. But he needs to curb his 4.4 turnovers. Tuesday night was a good start as he only coughed up two errors in 39 minutes.

he's literally too good for that league. He might be another Toney Douglas but he looks a lot more athletic and stronger to me. We gotta see him up here a bit. Let him play through the errors

Man needs minutes, we know who burks is, in a lost season we need to see what we have in the kids

I don’t understand thibs love affair with burks at the point.

I know management messed up and didn’t move one of our wings at the deadline.

Cam needs to play a lot I see flashes of T MAC in his game. He needs floor time to develop he has all the tools to be great he just needs floor time.

After this kind of bad streak we’ve been on, a line up change is needed, I want to see both burks and EF come off the bench.

I want to understand how someone can defend Thibs and his choices of late.

Deuce comes across as pretty mature. Handled himself well with the media. Think I heard Berman with "gotcha" type questions.

Berman speaks for the fan and knows “Free Deuce” is a thing. For those that “I don’t understand why”, well listen to him answer questions and you get a sense of truth. Sure he is polished in his answers a bit as not to ruffle the feathers but he puts it in context of his reality which is the veterans play, and he is learning.

In general, yea game management is important for a typical PG. But this roster is not typical. And Kemba, Burks or IQ did not play for their game management skills. Burks is starting because of his defensive impact and 40 percent from 3.

Randle and RJ are the game managers. That’s why I said this roster isn’t typical. The PG on this roster play a different role than most teams. And deuce game should fit. Putting him on ice doesn’t make since to me when we have a hole at PG without Rose.

There are only 2 corners players can stand in. 1 is for Obi and the other is for Cam. SO unless one of them get injured there are no open corners for McBride to sit in the whole possession. If Thibs doesn’t see McBride as a pg then Derrick Rose ain’t no pg. Butks definitely isn’t and Quickly isn’t either. I’m of the belief they are tanking to get a high pick to trade for Zion. That is the only thing I can think of because Thibs moves seem to sabotage the team.

teams know the order of draft weeks before it happens, so your talking about a draft night trade for Zion.

You’d understnad it in the context that good runs don’t always last. Who else was coming in?
Fornier is a streak shooter and if he gets hot, he can carry the team. Cam has yet to shot that type of game.
You understand AFter the game. Knicks win, you blow it off. they lose you have something to point to. In hindsight your right, but at that moment thibs went with what he thought gets him the win. It did not work.

We all want the wins and Reddish to produce. Injury, Covid, fate, what ever, he is getting minutes.
McBride got 7 min more than he got previous. What he does in Gleague is play free and like a star. if he can do that in the big show, he is Tim Hardway Sr. Unleash him? its been tried. He is not there. Much to learn.. this is what I see in previous games here. The 15 pt game was a nice stretch. He might be a very very good player. Just not yet. Soon? Maybe?

You talk like you know a lot about how McBride plays in the NBA when he has gotten virtually no playing time and now that he is getting 7 minutes of playing time it is out of position and just to stand in a corner.

On the Cam topic this is the same as the Obi topic. You expect to see him have games where he can carry a team. The problem is he does not get enough time to do that. By the time he comes in off the bench and get warmed up he is getting subbed out. Even when playing well they get subbed out. His last game was proof of that and Obi is proof of that already. Many games this season Obi outplayed Randle and still was subbed out after his usual 4 or 5 minutes.

It seems like you defend Thibs on every subject. So that raises the question. What things do you see Thibs doing well this year what things do you think he is doing poorly this year?
