This guy always says things I would say. They like them so much yet they are not even close to a deal with anyone else.
I heard doctors told Tony that he's at risk for spinal damage from carrying Danny Ainge's water so much the past couple of months

I was pretty sure he was going to bail. I know LeBron loves LA, but I didnt think he wanted to be part of the current sh*t show for more than another season.

Yes - he looks stronger/bigger but not sure I like that.
Historically I’ve always felt guys played best when they come in with less weight and lean/mean if you will like Pat Riley conditioned teams.
If anything RJ needs more finesse/fluidity to his game not bulk but what the hell do I know.
Hopefully whatever he’s done is great for his game.
I've got to disagree on this piece. RJ hasn't been someone who's going to beat you with his speed, so I don't think the extra weight will hurt his game. Yes, he does play with finesse and has a nice eurostep, but a lot of his game is bully ball. Felt like most of his offensive success to close out the season was from attacking the paint and getting to the line. I'd hope the extra strength/bulk will help him convert on some of those attempts to get the And-1.
We started to see a little more posting up at the end of the year from him too. Would love to see him adopt the fadeaway from Julius - hopefully at least one of them can start hitting it consistently...

I like the added bill for him. One of the things he needed to work on was finishing strong in traffic. That bill might really help him finish strong.

Just a 30 second intro today…

Last off season I recall speculation that RJ was taller then his listed size. Has anyone found out if he indeed grown ? Is he 6'7"" or 6'8"" now ? Any photos of him and Evan Fournier standing next to each other for example to try to see the difference

Maybe he has worked on being fluid and graceful but the more productive route is to be stronger and more imposing. Different ways to beat different opponents. RJ was terrible finishing from close range last year maybe the increased strength will help down low and in finishing. Maybe he doesn't have the spring and explosion so the strength to battle is what he needs. Have to work with what you have and not everyone can turn themselves into what they are not

He will never be a slim type player. I look at Pippen or Kawhi as a comparison for RJ.
