We have a lot of shooters so its not a perfect fir but hes a willing passer and it would increase the talent level to the top of nba. Hes not a SG but certainly can play 3. Doesnt need to start either. We can give up a 2023 unrestricted number 1 2 second rd picks pick rose and toppin
2023 Knicks (unrestricted)
There choice of 2 second rders
toppin
rose
Line up
C Robinson
F Randle
G Grimes
G Barrett
G Brunson
C Hartenstein
F Kuzma

I think Kyle would be a good add if he accepted a bench role. Don't see him accepting that now, but maybe he changes his mind if the team garners more success and he feels they can elevate his "brand".
there are teams out there that could be sellers. Watching the clippers, thinking maybe they need to blow it up. Same for the Wiz.
I would be so stoked if we could add a player like Kuzma. WHo knows!
I’ve been calling for Kuzma as a super-6th man. He would fit seamlessly as a 3/4 combo. Toppin, Reddish and 2 picks (a first this year and washingtons pick back) would be my offer, but he would have to be willing to play a bench role. Not blowing up the starting 5 for a good but not great player. He would finish games plenty though. He’s an upcoming free agent but he used to be Leon Rose’s client so there would have to be a mutual understanding of a contract and acceptable role. But rose can tamper and talk to his agent, that’s fine. Would need that assurance with his agent prior to a trade.
THe 40 point game wouldn’t have any impression to Briggs in the moment? Would it?
I thought Zach “Little Yao” Edny suppose to help?
Wiz were short handed on offense and Kuzma had a ton of shots. He responded. Is he this guy every night?
What about Hachimura for the bench ? Can shoot the ball play 3 and 4.
, cost less and Washington needs to find time for their other young players.

Ok but need to get a replacement for I Hart as well.
There is no way they max Beal and then trade Kuzma. That’s another team that isn’t as bad as their record (Toronto) and they don’t even have their best player. I think any rumours are BS.
Luzia will definitely opt out. You can roll with the fashion angle and say NY would be a destination but you know it’s going to be $$ and role as a FA. There is no way you sell him on being a super sub, he’s to young. He’s more athletic than Barrett, but is he better? Who would he be an upgrade over in the SL? Grimes isn’t the scores he is, yet, but his defence is what the SL has needed and it works.
I don’t have the answers, he’s a good player but not all star level.
I like Kuzma but how much would he cost? Would he accept a bench role? How much money is he looking for?
I think he is looking to be a starter long term and might seek near max money. Hard pass!
Kuz is averaging 21.7pts 7.4rbs 4.9ass on 47% and we want him here on a bench role?
He’s going to get $25MM+ a year and look for the Pistons to sign him.
He would be a game changer for sure here, grimes would have to move to the bench and RJ to the two. Fournier would need to be moved with a first rounder to clear space and you would need to move Isiah.
Would be interesting with a bench of IQ, Grimes, Obi, Simms.

I feel like we need 1 more player. Kuzma would be real good. I like that he’s 6-9. Matches up defensively w Jason Tatum

Kuz plays defense?
I consider him a neutral defender. For thibs with his size he should be an impactful defender.
Does anyone really see Kuzma as the type of player the Knicks FO would target? I don't

I don't either.
I felt the same when it was reported a few weeks back, that the Knicks asked about Harris from the Sixers. Just doesn't make sense on any level
The only real trade out there that gives the team what it needs is with Toronto.
OG is likely the defensive player of the year if we say 3 1sts reddish and Fournier, is that enough.
A wing defender to go at the best players in the league is what gets the team to then next level. Honestly if we can keep Obi and get OG 4 1st isn’t insane. Gives us a 9-10 man rotation under 27 years old with the exception of Randle.

Regarding the Clippers: too many players on their team are held together by paper clips. Too fragile. You can’t count on the best players taking the floor night in and night out. That’s a huge problem.
You don’t know if Kawhi, George, Wall, Jackson, or Morris are going to play. Zubac is just about the only one you can count on.

OMG- can you imagine the look on Thibs face the first time Kuz mentions fashion week?

Seems like decent teammate. I think Rodman was finishing piece on a few great teams
I mean yeah if you could just beam Kuzma aboard that would be great. But price, salary, fit - all seems too much for it to happen.

Leon rose was his agent. I wouldn’t rule it out.
