**** yeah Julius!!!
NYKMentality @ 2/2/2023 7:39 PM
Jalen Brunson imo got snubbed and robbed of an All-Star selection.

But hats off to Julius Randle for becoming a 2x Eastern Conference ALL-STAR (with our NY Knicks) while also having himself a career year (when it feels as if 90% of our NYK fans base told us, it wasn't possible and/or how 2020's "covid season was a FLUKE").

Julius Randle has proved a lot of people wrong (especially the one's who booed him) but not myself; because I've always believed in him (while always acknowledging just how much of an elite big man talent that our All-Star, truly is).

Love him or hate him, this is the guy that changed our trajectory, and made the Knicks relevant again.

I for one am grateful!

2 all star teams in 4 years! Narrative would be completely different if he didn't have the meltdown he did last season. Imagine if it was 3 in a row!

Looking back on track and got the much deserved accolade. Let's go for another All NBA team now!

11th cheapest contract out of the 12 Eastern Conference All-Stars?

That's living proof of an awesome NBA Contract for our KNICKERBOCKERS.

Some on here will use that when they claim he is making too much.

Agreed.

And congrats JR. Guess I am not the only one that thinks a perennial 20/10 is All Star caliber.

Salute.

Imagine if Melo had focused on being a good defensive player? Missed opportunity.

No doubt.

I don't think Defense was a lack of effort on Melo's behalf. I just don't think his body-frame was built for it.

Randle is unappreciated but slowly becoming a memorable Knick. Multiple allstar appearances is huge. Houston was only an allstar twice here. Sprewell only once.
technomaster @ 2/2/2023 9:34 PM
Congrats to Randle. He definitely deserved it.

Brunson is worthy, perhaps more so than some other players that played fewer games (cough Haliburton). But perhaps it's karma for Wally's statements and the fact that his injuries came against the Knicks that he was chosen over Brunson (and perhaps others). I'm hopeful that Bruson gets added as an injury reserve.

He' been debatably more important to the Knicks than Randle (if you can make a debate against someone averaging 25/11/4, well, you must be pretty good).

Congrats Julius
nyvector16 @ 2/2/2023 10:29 PM
Awesome accomplishment!!
We have had so few, it is nice to have representation for All-Star Weekend.
MS @ 2/2/2023 10:33 PM
Brunson is having a great season, but Haliburton is leading the league in assists and is the better player. Rose really whiffed there.

Julius very deserving, for all his warts he’s a beast and has been really impressive.
