Shawn Kemp, Derrick Coleman, and even Shaq probably sabotaged their careers to some extent being out of shape and overweight. Should I add Ray Felton?

Varying levels of talent listed - all to a degree if not extremely - but the point is made. Has Zion shown any inclination to deal with an issue that threatens to make him the all time bust?

I suspect if Zion is moved ahead of the draft this week its to Portland to be with Dame.
Don’t know how or if its one of a few moves they make.
Also don’t know where McCollum plays into any of this. They extended him. I suspect they want Scoot as rumored. Lets be real, Zions value has dropped and Scoot or Miller has very good if not great upside. There is value to the next two picks after Wemby.

As a Knick? Its intriguing to say the least. For what Nola does or planned for Zion, Randle kind of fits in. Ball handling 4. He is all star and All nba on a rather good contract. I’d say Randle value is pretty good. Ankle might be an issue though.

Zions upside is enticing. Don’t know if any of this in the table for knicks at all.

I think this all comes down to inside intel. We have CAA. We have RJ. hopefully that gives us some insight

It not that they JUST passed on Jorda He was not the easy read coming out of college and they had Clyde Drex. Remember, Jordan was not Jordan in college. I recently read someone said they'd have taken Barkley over Jordan. Its not as crazy his history would depict. Back then Big men were franchise players.
But God did grant them Lillard at the 8th pick, Terry POrter at 24th, so its not like they NEVER hit any good fortune.
And they had some really good teams in the 90's too!

Its a big risk for any team to take on Zion if the price is not a dump. Zion also has to pay his Porn star girlfriend off and not have tapes come out. Its not good for anyone but her. I assume she montetizes it.

Havent seen it.

Zion apparently has no chemistry with his teammates, he's in a messy love triangle. They cant afford to waste time with the clock ticking on McCollum. And Ingram with his own history of missing games.

If the Pelicans cant trade for a Scoot guarantee, Leon can make a competitive offer, which also gets Zion out of the West.

Dont know if its what Leon wants, but its what I wouldnt mind seeing as a fan. We cant "sure thing" our way to a chip'. And vault teams in the East which are getting better. I'd like to see the FO take a chance on this one. Admittedly a big chance.

I'm talking from a purely physical standpoint, at his size he needs to take better care of his body and evolve a game where he only uses those mutant like physical abilities when he needs to. Guys that rely that much on explosion and physicality don't last long.

First 7 names you mentioned those guys had 0.0 talent. other than size they had nothing. Zion has a lot of talent. The problem is his game is predicated on his strength and he needs to be built like a tank to do what he does so he can’t lose too much weight

Zion needs to demonstrate a love for the work and love for structure. Lebron invested much time and money into his body to perform as he did and endure 20 years. Zion won’t last that long. Some bodies need more than others.
