That flopping stuff is weird. It should just be a regular foul, called at the time of the foul. What I want to know is do the rules acknowledge it can be an offensive and defensive flopping foul.

Never liked the replay stuff. Should be simpler. Call for a review. You win, you keep the review and the timeout. You lose you lose the timeout. The real sticking point should be how many are allowable. My idea, allow until you are out of timeouts. Anything after that if you lose the review the other team gets a foul shot. The NBA should be better at monitering incorrect calls from either the arena or NBA home base. The league should bear a responibility that the games are called as accurately as possible. There really should be a way to make sure the refs are held accountable.

And get rid of that piece of shit 2 minute report unless you plan on changing the outcome of the game or penalizing the refs for incorrect calls. That is the most useless shit and just throws it in the face of fans if they lose because of crappy officiating.

I might be wrong but i think the point with the flopping rule is they can call a flop even if they didn't call a foul and let people play on.

Also the 2 minute report is garbage because many games are decided at other points in the game. they also don't attempt to address most coaches and players' main criticism which is consistency. they bend over backwards to justify the refs decisions and that just makes things worse. balls and strikes need to be consistent as do fouls etc.

I don't even think there is a defensive flopping issue in the NBA - if anything I would hope they are focused on offensive flopping when guys....

1) do rip thru moves where they initiate contact
2) when they dribble off a screen and act like they've been shot
3) kicking arms/legs out on shots

If NBA is just negating another defensive advantage of drawing some charges -- it's just another move to non-defense.

I'd love the league to eliminate those rip thru moves. I hate those.

Nah, Jalen loves that move. We need to keep that.

Apparently Jones played PF for Chicago the past two seasons, according to BBall Reference, Who knew? 🤷 I'd prefer him over Dieng, who looked washed the last time I saw him play. Jones might provide a better option defensively at the forward spot. Plus he can replace the dunking we lost with Obi. Hard to believe he's also the same age as Obi.

Why he so angry?

Correction- Bondy doesn’t quite say Knicks are looking at those 2….says monitoring market and mentions those 2 as available.

Are you not enjoying the madness?!?

And just think. Next season will be here in just 98 days or so!

Until then, there’s always the hobby horse championships…

Or, you could watch baseball. (just kidding!)

Not sure what happened to me and baseball. The Mets were always my second team after the Knicks and having not grown up here I’m not a Yankee hater and took interest in them. Guess it’s been a slow fade, but this last offseason Metsies were being like the Knicks used to be - signing overpaid old players, getting away from home grown talent. I don’t seem to care they’ve massively failed. Yanks to a lesser degree. Hard to root for fat cats.

Agree and that’s a reason I don’t want Knicks to go after wrong guys —- especially cats with significant history of injury, rest management (missing games) - give me a tough smart team with a youthful balance and I’m mostly happy….problem is I don’t believe Randle plays smart which is mentally draining as a fan.
