Any word on Isiah Roby and Nathan Knight ? Are they practicing against one another with Knicks trainers?

Not sure how Harden can flirt with China as I thought FIBA rules are as such. He is under contract and cannot just walk. Going after Morey in China during an addidas even seemed calculated. commenting on the love for hoop in china seems to be a way to sell sneakers, wine, and do another Marbury act there. He was loved.
If Harden was about chips, he’d have orchestrated the last few years differently. I won’t slam him for that. Not all players get to win the big one and he has achieved everything but that. Seems he is quirty but below Kyrie levels. If he is about being paid fairly I won’t fault hiim for that.
The manner in which he is handling his team preferences is not a good look for sure.
CLippers and Lakers are good places for him. How he gets there is another story.

ONly one way for players to come back from this kind of stuff. Play really well!
VInce redeemed himself years ago. Simmons might have gained some cred given he has had legit back issues. If he landed with nets and was healthy playing at all star levels it would have looked really bad. He has sat out a lot and nets have a lot invested in him.
Harden has to accept his situation and play. WIll he report? Does Philly want him to report? Harden does not want to hold out as it costs him big and sitting out the year won’t help him as he won’t be allowed back for another.
At the same time PHilly gets nothing in return but teaching him a lesson. Lose-Lose.
Harden has NBA fans fatigued. His act is old and while his considerable skills are still in tact they are in the headwinds of father time. His public party persona does not aid his cred.

As a fan I dislike Harden less than Durant and Kyrie in that order - I do not know them as "people." I have admitted to enjoying their suffering. I do not take it seriously. I will say that these three superstars managed to bring out the worst in one another and give an all time fail in Brooklyn. Much to the chagrin of the gasbags, brown noseers, and front runners. Ahhaha.

I would like to join this celebration of their misery

Add LeBron to that group too. It's the modern day player and their entitlement bs but blame the owners and GMs for always giving in.

Yep.

Hey, hated bird and Magic in the day. All that winning and smiling.
Jordan? fuck that guy.
We hate the great ones.

Harden and Kyrie excellent talents but not great. Lebron, Mount Rushmore. Durant might have been there but he will settle for a smaller mountain. Bird, Magic, and even Jordan despite degrees of hateability were not ring chasing diva douchebags.

This guy can be had for free. Man

Would love for the Knicks to take a shot on Garuba if/when he clears waivers

No, but he's still young. He's got good defensive chops that are only going to improve. He's a solid prospect, but that has little value in OKC. They have enough prospects.

Unfortunately, the last thing this team needs is a developmental guard.

Not against it but we have Simms. I say we take a shot for a player who brings a skill we lack. I want a vet like J Green at this point. But I wouldn't be against it

Garuba is an interesting prospect. His fortes are defense and hustle but that's just my initial impressions at his draft time and have not kept up since. I'd guess his ceiling is high level defensive role player who is capable of guarding most off the positions, very switchable. More of a ball mover than an offensive player with ball in hands. Very capable defender.

He needs development. But he is interesting player off the bench if if if you can keep him for more than a couple of years at a near min salary and develop him further.

When first hearing about this I did not grasp how big this was. After reading this guy breakdown the full lawsuit files this is potentially a lot bigger than people think. This twitter thread is long but a good read to understand exactly wha happened. It was also so detailed tha I have no doubt they have proof. Dolan and Rose are so tight liped about everything they should be the last people you steal from.

Ugh and wow. Thanks for this Clean.
