Thing is, there's a possibility Randle looks at the market and lots in. On the other hand, whoever takes him must have some understanding of what it takes to sign him.

If Minny couldn’t keep KAT in order to super extend Ant then they can’t resign Randle. So he’s a productive player that is there for salary relief. But doubt he sticks there.

I don’t think it’s as simple as just “Minny couldn’t”. They currently have ownership issues where they are - temporarily? - boxed in from a luxury tax standpoint.

Bobby marks speaks to it in some of his stuff.

I like the idea of keeping Mitch off the bench cause he would be great when its time for offense/defense substitutions late in games and he lives rent free in Embiid's head.
