iHart and Chet got their hands full

Yep
As good as iHart was he always got walloped by Jokic and Embiid. 1:1 defense versus elite scoring Cs was not his strong suit defensively.

I tell you, you and me gotta up our pregame routine so that we can stay awake longer

Hard to hate this guy. Wait... He is a Celtic. Fuck him!
lol

Brunson's ascension (and his and Hart's incredible press conference performances) has drawn most of the media attention (deservedly) but OG is more quietly just as important to this team in so many ways. It's amazing that he almost impossibly can get overlooked. Well, not so much during that mother-of-all-dunks in OT last night. I see you, OG.
OG a baaaaad man. Just don't ask him to dribble too much

The iHart-Mitch combo was lethal because of their differences

Wow, just saw the video. Better to be lucky than good. Bridges was missing his shots badly at the end - airballs may feet short. Yet, one of the greatest defensive overtime periods in recent memory. Adding another gamewinning defensive play to his resume for the season.
Mikal was great defensively late, and never runs out of energy. But if we're going to beat BOS we need some offense from him. He's a better creator than OG but we've had to rely more and more on OG.

Wow creative. You could have gone with the more traditional Scarface behind the desk full of cocaine, in that classic film.

So youre saying you need more volume? We can do that

hahahahaha..... yeah...
Hope this win lifts a huge boulder off the teams shoulders and they clobber the Celts in game 2. I mean a big ass whooping. A laugher

Credit where its due: Thibs and the coaching staff really seemed prepared with a plan and an adjustment against Boston. It was a sight to see. His defensive genius is showing up in the playoffs and the team seems more focused lately. I'm still iffy on some offensive plays, especially some Brunson isos, but the Knicks seem to be coming together at the right time. The defensive improvements are sooo welcome!
