WTF?

MVP! MVP!

Sorry, riding high on Olympics and day drinking when I came across this clip - watching Pete interviews is a masterclass in itself. No, I 100% do not expect him to (nor necessarily believe he should) be the VP pick...but watching him on the debate stage with Vance would be quality television.

In a world where nothing makes sense, it's still unbelievable the stuff he is allowed to say and not face any backlash. I still can't believe there's anyone left as an undecided in this election. You've either accepted the megalomaniac and drank the Kool aid, or you recognize this as simply reason #8,271 why he should be disqualified from office.

With the choices he makes, and the things that he says, it seems like he is actively trying to lose.

But it's impossible to tell, considering his fan base.

Or maybe an uphill battle is just what's needed to keep those sweet donations rolling in.

I doubt there are many undecided voters. This country just needs people to actually vote.

Mayor Pete is emotionally intelligent. Seemingly salivates on the tough question as he awaits.

Did Trump say "im not christian" to that group?

Sure, why not? He could shoot somebody dead in the street and they would still vote for him.

I’m just surprised he didn’t tell them all they disgust him.

It has taken too long and minorities and women are leading the way to put these assholes and their fuckery into the ether where they belong.

Hopefully it continues for a long time.

I get it now.AOC working as bartender when she was younger isn't serious. Lauren Boebert having bikini pics all over the Internet and giving random handies like she's 16 to high school girl who got drunk while sneaking into her first frat party, very serious.

The name calling over policy discussions is all they got. Its lazy.
Soon republican counties will try to suppress voting by making less polling or harder for people to vote.

Soon indeed.

The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee sued Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and others Monday for allowing federal Veterans Affairs and Small Business Administration sites to be used for voter registration efforts.

"The RNC and its members are concerned that Defendants’ failure to comply with Michigan statutes governing VRA designation undermines the integrity of elections by increasing the opportunity for individuals to register to vote even though they are ineligible to do so, and by sowing confusion regarding whether the agencies purporting to offer assistance in registering voters are doing so in accordance with applicable law," says the suit, which was first reported by MLive.com.

The dumb fuckery of this man is substantial. And amen to that last one.

Trump voters, this is who you want to represent you and the rest of America and the decision making with this level of stupid.

Apparently some black journalists were upset that he was invited, but that’s their job. Those who interviewed Trump did it very well.

From Rawstory

Vice President Kamala Harris has dropped a new clue about whom she'd like to be her own vice president, according to a new report.

Harris, Democrat's presumptive presidential nominee, has been quietly urging Wall Street backers to quickly cut their campaign checks ahead of a notable deadline, Axios reported Wednesday.

"The urgency of the requests has led some donors to conclude that Harris plans to pick a governor," Axios reports. "And not a senator, like Mark Kelly of Arizona — to be her running mate."

The governors on Harris' shortlist include Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has also said he's "probably" being vetted.

Sources told Axios Harris' team has been citing a Securities and Exchange Commission rule regulating donations to state office campaigns as they reach out to donors.

"The restrictions generally apply to certain employees of financial firms — including some banks and asset managers — that do business with a state or a locality," Axios reported Wednesday.

"When a state official, like a governor, is seeking federal office, the rules are applied to the federal race. If Harris picks a governor for her running mate, the campaign expects them to be triggered."

A campaign spokesperson told Axios Harris has not yet chosen a running mate.

"Any reporting on developments or updates in Vice President Harris' running mate search are premature and speculative," the spokesman reportedly said.

The final decision is expected to come by Aug. 6 when Harris launches a battleground tour.

I checked out RealGM the other day. I'm gonna need something stronger than that!
